Our standard 1,000-litre option is the Kingspan Titan R1000 single skin slimline tank (1880L x 590W x 1335H mm, as published by Kingspan). At only 590mm wide, it fits narrow side passages well.

Is 1,000 litres the right size for you?
- How much oil you use
- Most homes fill 2–3 times a year with a 1,000-litre tank. Bigger homes, or anyone who wants one fill per winter, may suit 1,200 litres or more.
- The space you have
- Slimline tanks sit tight to a wall; wider tanks need more room. Fire-separation distances from doors, windows and boundaries also apply.
- Access
- We check the tank can be carried in safely and that the oil lorry can reach the fill point.
- What the survey decides
- Whether your existing base is sound, whether a bunded tank is needed, and the exact model. Base requirements are always checked against the manufacturer's installation instructions.

Can you reuse my existing tank base?
Often, if it is level, sound and larger than the tank, as the manufacturer's instructions require. If it isn't, we quote for a new base before any work starts.
